LR-10 diesel cetane improvers—Alkyl nitrates, is a new multi-functional cetane improver developed by my company and China University of Petroleum senior professor who has many years research experience, the product is different from the traditional domestic ether nitric acid, amyl nitrate and peroxide, starting from improving the quality and protection of the environment, greatly improve the cetane number and cetane index of diesel, change the ignition performance; Reduce diesel vehicle emissions; Increased power performance; Save fuel; Improve diesel storage period, is an effective way for refinery to improve the quality and cetane of diesel.

Diesel combustion process is short and complex physical and chemical processes, into four processes of the ignition delay period, the speed of burning period, slow combustion period, and afterburning period, while shortening the ignition delay period can improve the performance of diesel combustion. The mechanism of cetane improver agent is to shorten the ignition delay period of diesel. Diesel cetane improver agent provides radical compounds during the diesel combustion process, these compounds involved in the oxidation and decomposition reaction of diesel. Induced oxidative chain reaction with radical compounds as the center, greatly reducing the spontaneous combustion activation energy of diesel, shorten the ignition delay period, improve the spontaneous combustion in the engine, improving cold start performance of the engine, reducing combustion noise and pollution emissions.

Usage and dosage

LR-10 diesel cetane improvers has strong susceptibility, use of effects is closely related to the oil and refining process. Adding 300 ~ 2000ppm (0.03% ~ 0.2%) LR-10 diesel cetane improvers in diesel can increase the cetane by 3 to 15 units (according to susceptibility), HC reduce 15 ~ 25%, CO reduce by 20 to 30%, particulate matter is reduced by 30 to 40%. Not only can improve the cetane number of diesel effectively but also reduce exhaust emissions of diesel combustion significantly, it has both economic and environmental benefits.

LR-10 diesel cetane improvers have the following advantages:

Using method

Storage and transportation
